So, how can a global brand such as Alter Eco attest to having a sustainable and low impact on our planet?
Whether it be to visit our partner producers in Bolivia or to team up with a local non-profits, we find ourselves all over the world learning about local communities, language and most of all...food. We feel it is important to share that with you, as part of our community.

No-GMOs Alter Eco has always chosen the highest quality, sustainable ingredients for its consumers. We believe that GMOs are not compatible with our vision of quality or respect of the environment and producers. According to the Non-GMO Project, “Over 80 percent of all GMOs grown worldwide are engineered for herbicide tolerance. As a result, use of toxic herbicides, like Roundup, has increased 15 times since GMOs were introduced.”
