We are proud to announce our official partnership with Sprouts Cooking Club and Tartine Bakery. This past weekend, the kids of Sprouts got to spend the day baking cookies with Laurie Ellen of Tartine. Using Alter Eco Dark Blackout chocolate and our unrefined Mascabado sugar, she was able to come up with a wonderful recipe for delicious chocolate cookies! These treats are going to be used for their bake sale in order to raise money for a culinary immersion program in France, where kids and their parents will be immersed in the cooking techniques, cuisine and culture of La Salle.
Sprouts Cooking Club, an incredible non-profit with a simple yet amazing message. By teaching bay area children of all soci-economic levels how to cook with real chefs with real ingredients in real restaurants, they are truly cultivating the next generation of foodies who will understand not only what real food is, but where it comes from.
