Double Chocolate Oat Pancakes

Here is a special pancake recipe that will change your breakfasts forever. Thick and fluffy, they are super easy to make! Thanks to our friend Plant and Sprout for the recipe!

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 ripe banana

  • 1 cup oats

  • 3/4 cup water or plant milk

  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 Tbsp flax seed or chia seed

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2-3 Tbsp chopped Alter Eco dark chocolate

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and set aside. Allow your pan to heat up for about 2 minutes, on medium-high heat. Lightly grease with your oil of choice if needed - then just started cooking up your pancakes! I usually take a ladle or large spoon to scoop how much I want, and you’ll know your pancakes are ready to flip once bubbles have formed on top and the edges are lightly cooked.
