Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola

Start the weekend perfectly with this Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola. A sweet and healthy recipe from our friend Plantandsprout!





1 cup oats 
1/2 cup peanuts
1 overripe banana
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp cacao
1 - 2 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)

1/3 cup chopped dark chocolate 




Preheat your oven to 350* F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, peanuts, salt, cacao, and set aside. In a food processor, mix together the banana and peanut butter. If you want the granola to be even sweeter, you can add some maple syrup or other liquid sweetener. Add the wet mixture into the dry, and make sure the granola mix is fully coated. Sprinkle over the sheet pan, and bake for around 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Once your granola is done, just put it in a bowl to cool and add in your chopped chocolate.
