Salted Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Peanut butter and chocolate is a classic love affair. Combined they're the perfect mix of nutty, rich and indulgent. It was only natural we'd post a chocolate peanut butter cookie sooner or later. These delicious cookies by the talented Plant and Sprout feature a double dose of both chocolate AND peanut butter for the perfect ratio. The result is a smooth, decadent cookie that you can't get enough of. 

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup all purpose 

1/4 cup cacao powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1/3 cup melted coconut oil

2/3 cup brown sugar

3 Tbsp creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup warm water

1 bar Salted Almond Alter Eco dark chocolate, chopped

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cacao powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. In another bowl, mix together the sugar, oil, peanut butter, and water. Combine the wet mixture to the dry, and fold in the chopped dark chocolate. Scoop your cookies onto the baking sheet using a cookie scooper, or a tablespoon. Bake for about 13-15 minutes, depending on how crispy your like the edges, and allow them to cool. Drizzle some peanut butter on top - it’s the best!
