Chocolate Chunk Walnut Oatmeal Cookies

Our favorite recipe for every fan of Oatmeal Cookies! We can assure you that this indulgent and vegan recipe will not disappoint! Thanks to our friend Plant and Sprout for the recipe! 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

 
  • 1 cup all purpose or spelt flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS:


Preheat your oven to 350F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and set aside. In another bowl, combine the sugar, melted oil, and warm water. Add the wet mixture to the dry, and mix. Fold in the chocolate, oats, and walnuts, and form cookie dough balls to place on your pan. The batter should make around 10-12 cookies. Bake for 12-14 minutes, depending on how crispy you like them.
