Date Sweetened Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

Brownie Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup oat flour

Peanut Butter Frosting Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup medjool dates
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup plant milk

 

Instructions

 

Preheat your oven to 350F. In a blender, blend together the dates, water, peanut butter, and salt. Add in the remaining brownie ingredients and blend until fully combined. Pour the batter into a parchment lined or greased 8x8 baking pan and bale for 30 minutes. While the brownies are baking, make your frosting. In a food processor, blend together the dates, peanut butter, and plant milk until fully blended. If you feel the frosting is too thick, add some extra plant milk.Once the brownies have cooled, layer with your frosting!
