Triple Chocolate Cupcakes

Cupcake Ingredients


Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1/2 large, ripe avocado
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup plant milk



  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
  2. Line your muffin pan with cupcake liners - it should make about 10 cupcakes!
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour + cacao + baking soda + baking powder + salt and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients except for the chocolate.
  5. Add your wet mixture to your dry and mix until everything if fully incorporated - but don’t over-mix!
  6. Fold in the chopped chocolate. Fill up your cupcakes about 3/4 of the way full, and bake for 20-25 minutes -  check them by placing a toothpick in one of the cake; if it comes out clean, they’re done!
  7. For frosting, place all of the frosting ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth - pipe your cupcakes once they have completely cooled!
