Vegan Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

It's no secret we love salt and chocolate. ;) These delicious cookies by the talented Plant and Sprout are chewy, chocolatey, and salty. The perfect combination for an irresistible dairy-free cookie!



  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 2/3 cup coconut or cane sugar

  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup warm water

  • 1/3 cup salted dark chocolate 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350*F.

  2. Whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, oil, and water. Add the wet mix to the dry mix and combine.

  4. Fold in your chocolate, and on two parchent lined baking sheets, place around 16 cookie dough balls.

  5. Bake your cookies for around 14-16 minutes (depending on desired chewiness).
