Oh So Good

I've had the salted caramel truffles before and this was the first time I've tried this bar. I was not disappointed !

Reluctant to share this review

To begin, we love alter eco chocolates and give them out for trick-or-treaters because of their compostable wrappers and delicious organic chocolate, too. The first time we ordered directly from alter eco, we were only shipped half of what we ordered, we contacted you and you shipped us a second box with the correct amount. That was last year. This year we bought our chocolates early before Halloween, but they arrived in a damaged box with a punctured ice pack that leaked on the product. We didn’t have the heart to pester your company about this problem, but we did take pictures of the damage and we think that the ice pack goo only soaked the box that holds the truffles and not the truffles themselves. It’s mostly an aesthetic problem. We think your product is the best chocolate in the best possible compostable wrapper and we love it, but some thing about the packing and shipping and handling seems amiss. Despite that, we would definitely recommend you.
